I want guns taken away from police officers because their has been too many lives lost by officers shooting innocent minorities. Too many families have been in mourning over the fact that their loved ones were victims to police brutality. It has been known for policemen to take it upon there-selves to abuse the power they obtain. I feel like if we take guns away from officers and replace them with non lethal weapons everyone would be more satisfied and feel safer when stopped. Police brutality is the reason ppl riot and war. All we want is to be treated equally. There has been times where officers murder’d innocent ppl and gotten away with it, there shouldn’t be no way they should be treated differently because of a badge. However people should not have guns neither. I feel like there should be a no gun law in this state and the world would be a better place. In conclusion I’m challenging the legislative branch and state governments to not only apply pressure to the law enforcement system but, change it entirely! Law enforcement agencies should be under federal jurisdiction not state ! Laws shouldn’t vary when dealing with human lives!
