On October 12th, 2014 Ronald "Ronnieman" Johnson was shot and killed by a Chicago police officer, George Hernandez, on 53rd and King Drive.
 
He was 25 years old and a father of five. On the night of the murder, witnesses report that police officers did not identify themselves before Officer George Hernandez opened fire on unarmed Johnson, killing him from multiple gunshot wounds. His death has been ruled a homicide.
 
This murder by George Hernandez was captured on police dash-cam video. Currently, a judge has denied the release of the video which would show that Johnson was unarmed, despite the report put forward by Officer Hernandez. The lawyer representing Ronnieman’s mother, Dorothy Holmes, has filed a Freedom of Information Act to obtain the dash-cam video that captured the shooting. The video shows that Chicago Police Officer, George Hernandez, killed Ronnieman even though he was unarmed and not committing a crime, as the motion filing by Ms. Holmes’ attorney states.
 
Stand with his mother, his children and his family and fight side by side  them in demanding the immediate release of the dash cam footage!
