Internal exclusions are when an often unfairly blamed children are placed inside a room for 5 hours, only to be let out for recess and lunch, at different times to their classmates, meaning they are completely cut off. However, due to this arrangement, work has to be set which is often sub-standard and no help can be offered as the teacher is teaching, therefore meaning that these children fail to learn, and when they are released back into their classes, they may act out of line due to frustration and misunderstanding. This is not always, though, a lot of the time students are punished with this rather - extreme punishment for the smallest things - these exclusions can lead to repeat offences rather than targeting the issues and giving help. In conclusion, I believe that internal exclusions should be banned. I hope you can take the time to sign this petition. Thank you.
