Around June time every year thousands of children and adults wake up to their local football pitch rendered useless as the goal posts have been removed by their local council. At the time of year when the weather is the best, children are off school and the days are the longest. Keeping these posts in situ would; increase physical exercise, teach the sport of football and all of the benefits that come from that, improve mental health amongst other reasons.
