Reduce School Fees @ MFIS till school is back full time.

The issue

  • Remoting learning not provided.
  • Instead sheets just sent to parents from already preexisting curriculum.
  • Parents expected to teach their children and still pay fees.
  • Other private islamic schools and public schools printed out work whereas MFIS told parents to go to Officeworks.
  • Year 6 students were seated in kindergarten classrooms using small desks and chairs.
  • When parents complained head teachers didnt even reply to emails.
  • The school is not doing enough, other schools are more productive and doing work a lot better.
  • We parents are doing most, if not all of the work.
  • Teachers are not online with the kids and when they do go online they have a meeting for half an hour which isnt productive at all.
  •  This is going to affect the students education.
  • Teachers keep asking the kids why they are at school and making children uncomfortable and emotional.
  • They only deducted 10% from fees and when we send the kids to school they don’t teach them only supervise and for highschool they don’t have much online classes like some other schools.
  • We want to reduce the fees and consider our efforts at home .... they are sending the paper by email.... and we’re doing homeschooling not remote learning.
  • The government grants should cover the expenses for this time of hardship families are going through.
  • Private schools also received extra financial help from government during covid.
  • We the parents are refusing to be taken advantage of and will not pay fees for a service that was never delivered.
  • We the parents stood by MFIS during their hardships (courts, uncertainty) we expect the same support back.
  • What is more than fair is parents only pay 10% for weeks 9-11 term 1 and weeks 1-3 term 2.
