We understand that the Federal government welcomes and our great nation requires foreign Investments, that’s OK.

But the Sale of Kidman Station (Beef), Van Diemen’s Land Company (Dairy properties) and many more in recent years  are SALES of Australia  not  investments in Australia.  These don’t  necessarily create a net benefit to Australians in jobs or taxation revenue.

Australian mums and dads can invest in these properties via crowd-funding, their superannuation funds  or other schemes.

Other successful  Australian business people, have offered to buy some of these  properties, but failed.

Also, the lease of the PORT of DARWIN to the Chinese is not acceptable. Yes, the Chinese government says its not a problem, off course not !!.

Our governments  also allows the sale and leasing of vital Australian  resources to foreign countries.

Our Governments only monitor large scale sales, the newspapers only report the large scale sales whilst  thousands of smaller properties and resources are changing hands annually. You would be surprised  as to what is owned by overseas countries. 

Why not ask your local member ??  He too, would  be surprised.

Perhaps a register of all foreign ownership could be maintained showing what resources are sold off and the land mass  on a cumulative basis. That is, how many millions of acres have been sold to-date.   This would be an excellent audit tool and important information for all administrators and residents/ voters .

 Can our Australian Entrepreneurs  or Government go to china, the middle east ,etc.   and buy land and other resources in this way ??   the answer is  - NO !!

In summary, first , our Governments allowed the sale of  our manufacturing sector, transferring jobs and profits to foreign countries then in recent decades  they allowed the sale of more  land and cattle, Dairy farms, Vineyards,  Agricultural land, water rights, etc. etc.

Our produce is first class  and is wanted by China and other countries, but if we continue selling the cow(s) then we will not have milk for our future.

Australians will become  importers with little to export and living in “OUR” country which will be owned by foreign countries.                                                            That’s not the Lucky country “  that we once knew !!!

These sales to foreign  countries make all our daily purchases such as milk , fruit, vegetables – to name a few from the hundreds of products,  YES , MORE EXPENSIVE.

What sales will our Governments approve next  ????                                        Our Cities, Suburbs, bridges etc.

Please protect Australia and our produce for Australians.

Finally, Please sign this petition ( and pass onto to your family and friends – as they too will be affected) to stop the sale of Kidman Station to China  and other  Australian resources ensuring that we have produce for our future and keep prices within our reach.

Don’t let them give away our prime land & resources.                                          Our defence forces fought and many died to protect the Australian land and resources for use by Australians in Australia.
