Over a specific fear, the Australian government has initiated a blanket porn import ban rather than banning specific porn.

This petition also affects VTubers (virtual streaming avatars) whose model parents hail from this region, as the government did not make the extent of said ban clear.

I have a list of proposed ideas as to how they can lift the porn ban but also keep the integrity of the imports from entering illegal territory.

1. Exempt clearly adult VTuber models and other pornography from this ban. The global age of consent is 18, so any characters above this age should be allowed.
2. Any porn labeled as “l*li/sh*ta” must be the target of said ban. This is content depicting characters under the global age of consent.
3. The Australian government must make clear the extent of what must be banned and what should not be banned.
4. This petition is open to ideas on how to improve the wording should we reach a certain threshold.

If we do not take action now, far less Australian model parents will exist for VTubers and the overall community would have to find potentially more expensive countries to hire from.
