Noodle Rex is a step taken by 4 musicians. 4 musicians that know the workings of the music scene here. 4 musicians that have seen how hard it is to balance passion and financial security. 4 musicians who have seen fellow peers quit altogether. 4 musicians who are tired of offers that are never artist centric. In a place where music purchase has never been the proper channel for artists' revenue, piracy is rampant whereas the audience has been habituated to free music through videos and now streaming.

Enter Noodle, as one feature of it deals with cutting down the middle party and connecting artists to the audience direct. We and they can now finally plan releases without the unnecessary pressure of video production and free distribution. Streaming and views are highly unfair in their payment schemes. However, the first 3 months of Noodle has renewed the musicians' faith that there are genuine listeners willing to listen to music - the right way - through purchased HQ downloads.

We know that not everyone will be onboard this idea but let's hope we reach a substantial number someday that will be enough to make the independent music scene sustainable and professional. We start off with Noodle 1000 where we aim to get signatures and feedbacks from at least 1000 music lovers and/or Noodle users who will pledge to listen to music in the right, legal, morally correct and genuine way - through official purchase.
