The Interior Design Department has the highest GPA’s and highest retention rates
at the Art Institute of Tampa. The correlation between those GPA’s and Retention
rates can be directly attributed to the effort, time, research and planning Tom
puts into our department processes and standards. Our fall quarter enrollment
rates are up 10%, another indicator of our well run organization.

Tom provides the highest quality of leadership combined with real-Life knowledge
of our profession. His connections with industry professionals, vendors and
others provide a strategic advantage to us as aspiring designers and graduates.

We are asking that Tom Szumlic be reinstated as soon as possible to prevent
further disruption to our department.
