Attorney Donna McCabe and Attorney Ethan Halpern were the lawyers  for Thomas Valva and his two brothers, Anthony and Andrew. Lawyers for children are supposed to be an advocate for the children’s benefit. Yet instead, these attorneys painted pictures for the judges which sadly were untrue. In the midst of severe abuse from Michael Valva (Brainwashing, not allowing them to use the bathroom and when they finally relieve themselves they get severely punished, bruises from being beaten, many school reports, and the list goes on- It is not difficult to see very unhappy children even underneath a mask). These attorneys sided with him and placed those three boys in serious danger. At this time it is unknown why they lied on behalf of Michael Valva, but at this point in time, the reason doesn’t matter, their oath as attorneys were broken and an innocent child’s life was lost due to their negligence. They need to be investigated, and disbarred before more children are placed in harms way.
The people of Suffolk and Nassau County, NY, and throughout all of the United States demand a change. These lawyers are dangerous to their own clients. Trust is broken and attorney oaths have been broken. Please hear our voices on behalf of Thomas and all future children in his situation and do the right thing.
