Rebuild “Cinema Park” in Kabul Afghanistan, don’t destroy the culture and memories
The Issue
Cinema Park, The Emerald of Kabul in Shahre-e-Naw was demolished to ground on November 9th. 2020 by the order of the Afghan government.
The city seven decade history, culture and art was taken and piled up in pieces for the citizens of Kabul. Memories of millions of Afghans in the country and out of the country was shattered in pieces.
Cinema Park was not just another “Movie Theatre” or “Cinema” it was the heart and soul of the city Kabul. It was where friends meet for a chat and lovers to get a glance of their love. It was a place where many Afghans had their most sweet memorial times of their life. It was a place where many citizens of Afghans saw their first movie of their life.
Cinema Park was a historical building for its people.
Cinema Park needs to be rebuild for the youth, for the future of the citizens of Kabul.
