Hello! Our names are Sofia and Andreia. Currently, our school Thayer Academy  has about one hundred and eight faculty and staff members employed. Only about 15% percent of them are people of color. Unfortunately, this means many students have never even been taught by a teacher of color. We would like to see that change. By starting a petition to encourage the heads of school to hire more diverse teachers and faculty, we hope Thayer can become a more inclusive place.
