The Issue
Tourists who watch elephants painting or who ride on these beautiful animals cannot possibly be aware of the horrendous method used to tame them; if they were surely they would boycott any elephant- related attraction. Baby elephants are starved and beaten for a week to break their wills. Many will die as a result and the remaining 'lucky ones' will be forced to provide ' entertainment' for tourists. Child prostitutes may not like what they provide for Westerners but at least they are not treated in this barbaric way!
