Amidst the outbreak of COVID-19 or Coronavirus, we fear for the safety of our students whether they reside on or off campus at Texas Tech University. Texas Tech is one of the largest public schools in the nation with countless numbers of individuals (almost 40,000) coming from different cultures across the globe, which in this case, is not so beneficial due to the number of growing cases each day. We feel that all campus activities, including classes, should come to a halt for a certain period of time after spring break. This virus is nothing to joke about!
