You may be asking yourself, now what? You’ve signed the petition, and shared the petition, you’ve asked your friends and family to sign and share the petition. What can I do now? Here’s my suggestions:

1. Email the Texas State Representatives
2. Send the Texas State Representatives a letter
3. Contact your local newspaper and News Station
4. Call the folks listed above
5. Is there a podcaster that you listen to, that may be interested in helping? A YouTuber?
6. Continue to share and asking your friends to sign and share.
7. Use Stormie’s Law in the subject line and link the online petition.
8. Use #stormieslaw hashtag when posting online and link the online petition.

We need the lawmakers in the state of Texas to take notice. We need them to understand that we take our safety seriously. We need them to know that we stand beside every single person in the state of Texas whose life has been affected by murder.

Email and letter suggestions:

Explain what Stormie’s Law is: abolishing the right of confessed murderers the option of bond. Explain why this is important to you. i.e safety concerns, peace of mind for the victims loved ones, justice for the victims.

Tell them how this law affects you personally. Together we can make a change. Together we can make a positive impact on the citizens of Texas.
