The Fort Davis Mountains in West Texas are named after Confederate President Jefferson Davis.  Jefferson Davis led the Confederate south against our great president Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War. Jefferson Davis himself owned around 113 slaves on his cotton plantation in Mississippi. It is time to change the name of the Fort Davis mountains.
