As a Texas License Wildlife Rehabilitator, we are Officers of the State of Texas,  we pour our hearts and soul into learning and receiving education oh how to care for so many different wildlife needs.

We take the time out of our own personal schedule and the finances from our own personal funds to pay for our educational class, our license & fees, supplies, food and medical care to accommodate the care that is needed for the wildlife.

As a Texas License Wildlife Officer of the State of Texas, we also depend on volunteers and sub-permittee to help us out. During there time with us we do offer to help educate on the laws and care that each wildlife is given, with placing the sub-permitee on our license in hope that with honesty and good-faith they will obey the laws of the State of Texas and the laws we also place upon them! With ever effort we try to monitor them, But at times that is not always in our Power - When a sub-permitee violates the rules/Laws of the State of Texas Park & Wildlife License, We the License holder is held accountable and penalized for their wrong actions.

We are asking the State of Texas to change the laws to penalize the sub-permitee for there wrong action/doings, and to NOT hold the License holder accountable - It is truly unfair that we the Texas License Wildlife Rehabilitator as Officers of the State of Texas our License and reputation is being put at risk for fines/court actions and addition re-precautions, and the wildlife we care for are also put at risk.
