We are asking that the Houston Gateway Academy/ Elite College  Prep Academy from being granted another permit to allow the  Riverstone Ranch campus to be a school.  The building has been under construction for 10 years and is still less than half complete.  It is currently an eye sore and danger to our community.  The original superintendent was indicted for embezzling money.  There have been several lawsuits with contractors.  The school does not return ANY phone calls or respond to any emails in attempts to discuss the situation. There have been so many issues with this property and the attempts to build the school.  Many in the community do not trust how the school will be run or the upkeep of the campus at this point. This school will also cause increased traffic problems on the main entrance to our community. The community wants the building completed or torn down in a timely manner, because as mentioned before, it has been under construction for 10 years.  The community is fed up with it. Since the TEA has already revoked the permit, we are asking that it not be issued another one.  We also want someone to hold someone responsible for this problem now.  Too many issues.
