Texas land owners have been fighting to stop the Texas Bullet Train, and have almost failed. Hundreds of acres of privately owned land have been seized under eminent domain, decimating the income of farmers and ranchers in Texas. Texas Central is selling the land to Japanese Tech companies for them to put the bullet train in, giving them a huge profit margin at the cost of everyday citizen’s livelihood.

Landowners have protested this project for the past eight years, citing a loss of income and farmable land, as well the danger the train causes their livestock and families. The train would travel in excess of 100 mph, sometimes right next to family homes. Texas Central is not using true and factual statistics about this project, and similar bullet trains have failed in California and Florida already. Texans do not want this train in their backyards, and yet the Texas Senate and Governor Abbott are pushing this project through and allowing the abuse of Texan property to continue without consequences. We need to make sure our voices are heard, the Texas Bullet Train is stopped, and the land is returned to their owners as soon as possible.
