Allow 30-year-old research lab chimpanzees, Rosie and Ken to retire.

Allow 30-year-old research lab chimpanzees, Rosie and Ken to retire.
The Issue
Rosie and Ken are 30-year-old chimpanzees who've never known a day of freedom. They were born in research labs and have spent almost their entire lives being experimented on by scientists in search of cures for human diseases. Chimpanzees share 98 percent of our DNA and share many human traits, that alone is enough to allow them to not work and have some free time and better living conditions towards the end of their lives. Allow them to move to the National Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Shreveport, Louisiana. It's aptly known as "Chimp Haven." These two and others like them have worked hard in a very tough job for 30 years, it is time for them to retire.
