It has been identified (since 2015) that there are excessive log file writing causing eMMC flash wear. This will lead to unnecessary and costly repair costs for all Tesla Model S, X, and 3 owners. It’s not a matter of if but when this issue will occurs. 

Tesla, Inc. can most likely resolve this issue with a firmware update.
