Throughout my childhood, I have been an avid Sabres fan through good and bad. Throughout my childhood, I remember watching the playoff series against the Senators and Hurricanes on TV with my dad and being so excited about the Sabre's success. I believe we were successful not only due to the talent on the team, but I believe it was the "slug" that carried us through those games. The iconic jerseys bring back memories from my childhood and I believe we can "Make the Sabres Great Again" if we bring back those beautiful, memorable jerseys. I think bringing back the old jersey would reignite the energy in the Buffalo fan- base that was present during those successful years and I believe it could give the Buffalo Sabres momentum and excitement that could carry the Sabres through seasons to come. I hope to get enough recognition and awareness of this topic and hopefully make a change in Buffalo sports for a hopeful future for every Buffalo sports fan that is still dreaming of the day we can bring a Stanley Cup or Super Bowl victory back to our home town.
