Long-time University of the Pacific Professor Rod Githens was arrested on April 21, 2023 on child sex abuse charges.

Githens was merely placed on administrative leave from the University of the Pacific. The lackluster response from the University of the Pacific is unacceptable. 

The University needs to send a strong and clear message against child exploitation and abuse. Terminate Rod Githens immediately from the University of the Pacific.
