A link is posted below with all the videos. But I wanted to provide you with my side of the events that have unfolded. The videos are only my evidence.

Summary: I was served papers “Complaint and Motion for Restraining Order” from the Principal at my children’s school for arriving 5 minutes early for pick up and posting a video to Tik Tok of our altercation. She tried to use her authority and power to intimidate me. When I didn’t comply, she claimed victim. If she is awarded the restraining order I will be forced to withdraw my Children who are all A students from the school.

Back story: There is a serious problem with the layout of my Childrens school for pick up, the school officials have ignored finding a solution to the problem thus far. Every now and then there is a mass email sent out asking parents not to arrive early for pick up because it blocks the right lane of a major Highway in town. But they are not trying to find an actual solution to the problem, other than diverting parents to the neighboring businesses to wait for the car line to be opened so the cars can pull on campus. 

In the past: There has been one time months ago, when I showed up 2 minutes before the gates opened. When I pulled in there were immediately cars pulling in behind me with a line forming in the street in both directions as well as cars backing up the neighboring Ingles, who were lined up to go to the school. That day the principal approached my vehicle and ordered me not to show up early because it creates a traffic hazard. I informed her I was not aware of the ongoing issue because it was one of the first times I was picking up my kids and just happened to arrive on campus at 2:28, when the gates don’t open until 2:30. Mind you I was in the schools parking lot I was not in fact in the road way, unlike the cars that piled in behind me. She did not speak to any other cars that day. 

Present day: Wednesday February 15, I arrived at the school at 12:25, it was early release day with the arrival gates opening at 12:30. I was not the first car in line, I followed in behind another car, there were cars that pulled in behind me. I noticed the principal was pacing back and forth taking photos of the car line, she then posted a photo on the Schools Facebook with my truck photographed between two other vehicles. (Which she has since removed) Before the gates opened she walked towards the car line, due to our first encounter when she was very rude to me with my wife to witness in the car, this time I was alone. I felt compelled to video record to keep from any Misunderstandings, thankfully I did because that is all I have to defend myself. She approached me in a very aggressive and condescending way, asking for my Childrens names, then threatened to call the cops next time I arrive early. 

Shortly after she emailed my wife letting her know of the altercation that I approached her aggressively. Mind you, I stayed in my vehicle and mentioned that the real issue of the dismissal schedule needed to be addressed, it’s the schools responsibility not the parents.  If it weren’t for the video, I would have no proof other than her word vs mine. I have since posted the video and within one week it has had 3.1 million views with multiple comments suggesting I seek the help of an attorney. So please if you have anyone who can help please let me know!

My kids are on principals honor roll with their lowest grade being a 96 last semester. They are good kids and we have no issues but I feel as if I for some reason am being targeted.

The day after the incident, I sat in the Ingles parking lot to see if she spoke to any other parents how she spoke to me. She did not come out of the school. Instead, the vice principal was rerouting traffic back into the street to wait until the gates opened.

The following Tuesday I posted another video, which was the first time the principal came since our altercation. There were lines of traffic both directions in the street as well as cars lined up on campus and in Ingles parking lot at 2:18, which was much earlier then my arrival the week prior. The principal sat outside, walked down the car line and did not say anything to any car that was “blocking traffic” as she claimed I did. 

On Wednesday, I received a call from a county deputy who let me know the principal was asking that I no longer record and post her videos. I told him I was doing it for my own protection. When I arrived that day, there was an out of uniform deputy on school campus, standing with the principal at the front door. At this time Another email went out from who I assume to be someone on the board letting the school community know about the interruption I was causing.

The principal sat at the front door while the deputy approached my vehicle. She asked if I was recording. I told her absolutely and told her my side of the ongoing situation she could only say so much, but was very aggressive in her approach. When all I am trying to do is pick up my kids. She let me know that the principal was coming to speak to me, but she never did. I posted a video of our conversation because I want to be sure everything is out in the open. 

Thursday and Friday I arranged for my mother and my wife to pick the kids up to keep from pushing the issue following the video I posted between myself and the female cop. My wife believes the principal would try to press charges, to keep me from coming to campus. Ultimately forcing us to have to unenroll our children, then this would all be behind her with no solution to the ongoing problem. I know this seems petty on the grand scheme of things that we have to worry about in life and I would have never imagined picking up my kids 5 minutes early would come to this but I feel it’s a direct abuse of power.  

To be clear my arrival has been just minutes before the gate opens. The children are not out of the school building, they are not dismissed for another 10 minutes after the gates are opened. There are no kids being filmed.

I am reaching out to you because I feel that I am clearly being targeted and she is trying to make an example out of me when I am not the only offender of arriving early. I am not in the street, not one time have I been in the roadway backing up traffic. I can’t help what the other parents choose to do or where they choose to park.

Friday a deputy showed up at the house 2/24/2023 at 12:30 who left a notice. I called the deputy once I received the notice. The deputy informed me that he had documents from the magistrate for me, I set up a time to meet him. When I met with the deputy, I learned she had filed a complaint and motion for restraining order on February 22, 2023 which is the same day she had multiple members of her staff leave their students in other teachers room in order to dress up in inflatable costumes and approach my truck with poms poms taunting me at dismissal. This would ultimately force me to withdraw our children from the school because I will not be able to go on campus to pick them up. There was no rhyme or reason other than to taunt, antagonize and put on a show for the camera while failing to address the ongoing issue of school dismissal. When I showed the serving officer the videos, he couldn’t believe the order he was serving me with was for the claim made by the principal that I posted my Tik Tok Videos to incite anger amongst my followers while intimidating and harassing her.

The videos I posted were not only of the principal but every dealing I had with school or law enforcement officials in regards to the situation in hand. They are my proof of events that occurred, nothing was left out or hidden.

I have to answer to the courts on March 13, 2023. I am asking for your support to sign my petition to show the judge that yes I am guilty of arriving 5 minutes early to get my children, as well as lines of other parents but I am being singled out and targeted by the principal. When in fact the real issue, the structure of dismissal procedure is being overlooked and still not addressed.

I honestly wish I could say that I thought proper training on how to interact with parents and children would be mandatory for this principal and help in the future but it is evident that she needs to be terminated. If she can’t have a simple discussion with an adult how is she supposed to govern our children?
