Terminate Frank Valentini as Executive Producer of General Hospital

Terminate Frank Valentini as Executive Producer of General Hospital
The Issue
As members of the devoted fanbase of General Hospital, we are expressing our deep concern over the executive leadership of Frank Valentini. His tenure as the executive producer has shown a concerning lack of respect towards veteran actors and longtime fans alike, favoring a select group of actors and friends while ignoring the opinions of those of us who engage passionately with the show.
Not only are the roles of actors of color being undermined, but also, beloved female actors are increasingly being treated unfairly, with many being unjustly terminated while their male counterparts come and go as they please. This unbalanced, favoritism has not gone unnoticed and is deeply troubling to us, the audience.
Creativity, under Valentini, has dwindled to poorly drawn-out storylines and a blatant disregard for the rich history of General Hospital in favor of nonsensical plots. The once dynamic and vibrant world of General Hospital is now riddled with a bloated cast, confusing narratives, and a clear lack of respect for its veteran cast, legacy characters, and loyal viewers.
Our concerns are not unfounded; voices from the fan community go unheard, with feedback ignored. There is evident micromanagement taking place in the writers' room that undermines the talent and potential of the writing team and such leadership has proven detrimental, with show ratings continuing to plummet under Valentini's supervision.
Once known for its bravura storytelling and compelling plotlines, General Hospital is teetering on the brink of cancellation. We, the devoted viewers of General Hospital, urge ABC Network to consider these complaints seriously and terminate Frank Valentini's position as Executive Producer. Together, we can press for the change we wish to see, and restore General Hospital to its former glory. Sign this petition if you believe in the preservation and improvement of this iconic show.
