LEADERSHIP MATTERS IN OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS! Within 3 short months, Dr. Willard Smith has proven that he is unfit to serve as SUPERINTENDENT of the West Bolivar Consolidated School District (WBSD).  Dr. Willard Smith must go now!

District and school leaders must be men and women of integrity; transparent; honest in all their dealings; and ones who genuinely care about the growth of students and the communities they serve. Dr. Willard Smith is no such leader.  In three short months after being employed by the WBCSD, Dr. Smith has: bullied students, teachers, and leaders; proven himself to be dishonest in his business dealings; divided community stakeholders to a point of no repair; and staged a COUP OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT AT THE EXPENSE OF OUR CHILDREN.  Dr. Will Smith MUST GO NOW!

The WBCSD was already in a state of crisis, yet this man has come in, poured gasoline on the flames, and lit the match.  There is no way Dr. Willard Smith can lead when he disrespected 60% of his constituency, referring to us as TROUBLEMAKERS for seeking to be engaged in school decisions.

Since Willard Smith joined the WBCSD on a 3-2 vote, he has been the author of nothing but division, chaos, and strife.  He has pitted the communities against each other to promote himself.  He has even celebrated himself at a 100-day celebration while children in the WBCSD sit as a bottom 10 school district academically among all of the school districts in the state of Mississippi.  

The straw that broke the camel's back is Dr. Willard Smith recommendation to engage the WBCSD in a $11 million-dollar debt obligation when the ONLY person assessing the financial outlay is WILLARD SMITH HIMSELF.  Willard Smith refuses to involve the parents and community in school decisions, pitting himself as the sole decision-maker. WE WANT DR. WILLARD SMITH GONE IMMEDIATELY!  HE'S A CANCER IN THIS SCHOOL DISTRICT AND HE MUST GO! 

THE ROSEDALE COMMUNITIES DEMAND THAT DR. WILLARD SMITH BE FIRED NOW.  We have no confidence in his leadership and there is nothing he can do to regain it.
