The child welfare system has become an all powerful entity with very few, if any, checks, balances or oversight. It has truly become a terrifying concept, that society barely speaks about or even realizes. Since the 1970's there has been an ever increasing stream of money put toward the child welfare system from the federal government. The totals are staggering. In 2023 alone, the government provided about $12.0 BILLION dollars to finance programs specifically devoted to child welfare, however, there is no way to hold these systems accountable when they commit illegal actions or do things contrary to the limited protocol that exists. We need more legislation and higher oversight into these components of the government. These people MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! Our babies ARE DYING because they are on a power trip and are not prevented from letting their personal bias determine how a case should go. It is despicable that this is happening and they're getting away with it. This issue is massive but nobody is paying attention. Until it happens to them. Let's fix this.
