The desires of the majority of Americans changes with each generation. The Supreme Court is supposed to reflect and enact the desires of the majority. We can see that as of June 24, 2022 - that is not happening. The government works FOR us - NOT the other way around! And if the MAJORITY changes - so should the justices! Set term limits! No longer give life long appointments. Presidents have term limits. The most Supreme Court of the land can essentially turn into a dictatorship in life long appointments. We have laws in place to prohibit that in presidency - it's time to do it for these Justices as well!

I believe the justices should be set to a maximum of 16 years, with re-affirmation required every 4 years, until the maximum term limit has been met. The Court should represent the people. The people express their desires through their voice every 4 years through voting. We need to align terms to the peoples voice!

Failure to enact this change means that we subject ourselves, our children, and possibly our grandchildren, to a Court that may no longer represent their expressed desires through voting, because of life appointments. Sign the petition and tell the government what WE DEMAND of them, as the people they work FOR.
