If this bill becomes law, women who suffer a miscarriage could potentially be prosecuted by law. This is not only an egregious attack on women's rights, but this would also put women who are victims to miscarriages through even more trauma, on top of the trauma they experience with miscarriages. Also, this could allow women to be prosecuted for just having a period. With bills like this being introduced, it essentially sends a message that a woman's sole purpose for existing is to reproduce. This sort of misogyny dates back to a time when women were considered second-class citizens, and we are not! This must be rejected if we are truly a progressive society. Please reject this bill!
