Tell Ukraine the People of the USA Still Stand with Them
The Issue
On February 24, 2022, under the orders of Russia's dictator, Putin, soldiers invaded Ukraine with the ill intentions of taking over Ukraine's independent country. They have committed numerous war crimes, bombing hospitals and schools, killing and raping civilians, amongst various other heinous crimes. As the most powerful country in the world, the USA's President Biden, with the vast support and approval of US citizens, provided much needed aid to Ukraine and pledged our support to them in defending their home land and democracy.
Donald Trump has now entered The White House, and is quickly showing his weakness towards Putin. He insulted President Zelensky, by (ironically) calling him a dictator. He has made it clear his personal relationship with Putin is his priority. He has embarrassed the United States of America by withholding support to Ukraine. We are a fortunate country, and we have proudly been able to provide aid to people all over the world that need help. We also do not support dictators, or condone Trump's foolish "mean girl" comments towards Ukraine's admirable President Zelensky.
The vast majority of US citizens continue to support Ukraine's independence and President Zelensky. We need the people of Ukraine to know that Trump is not speaking for the majority of people. While he's spinelessly looking out for his own personal interests, we, The Citizens, continue to sympathize with Ukraine and pledge our full support. We will proudly stand with Ukraine until the very end.
