The Supreme Court ruled that many of President Trump’s sweeping tariffs were unlawful.

Those tariffs raised prices across the country. Families paid more for groceries, electronics, clothing, and everyday goods. Research estimates the average American household paid about $1,000 more last year because of these policies.

Now the federal government may have to refund more than $134 billion collected under those tariffs.

President Trump has suggested the refund process could take years. Americans should not have to wait indefinitely for accountability.

If tariffs were unlawfully imposed, then the American people deserve prompt restitution.

We call on Trump to ensure that refunded tariff revenue is returned directly and swiftly to the American people — not delayed, diverted, or buried in bureaucracy.

This is about responsibility.

You imposed the tariffs.
Americans paid the price.
Now pay them back.
