For nearly two years, international journalists have been barred from independently entering Gaza. The only reporting has come from Palestinian journalists trapped inside—many of whom are now starving, displaced, or dead.

It’s a global information blackout.

Major outlets like The New York Times, BBC, Reuters, and The Washington Post have all called on Israel to allow press access. But so far, the blockade on foreign media continues—while local reporters are being “starved into silence,” as the Committee to Protect Journalists puts it.

We’re calling on the United States, the European Union, and other allied governments to use their diplomatic and economic leverage to demand that Israel allow accredited international journalists to enter Gaza immediately.

Without press access, the world cannot witness or verify the conditions on the ground. In war zones, the truth is always at risk—and without reporters, it disappears entirely.
