Syracuse, NY is a sanctuary for thousands of Palestinians, Arabs, and Jews who are equally distraught by the escalating genocide. The international community has been calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. This is not just about politics; it's about human lives.

The situation on the ground is dire. Every day without a ceasefire means more casualties and worsening conditions for those living amidst the violence. A ceasefire isn't just necessary to halt further destruction; it's crucial to allow humanitarian aid to reach those who desperately need it.

Syracuse prides itself on being a city that values the diversity in our community. We can't sit around and rely on being known for our diversity. We have to stand behind it. We must use our collective voice to join the international demand for an end to the occupation and a permanent end to the killing in Gaza.
