For the seven million Americans suffering from PTSD, a single pill could change their life. Doctors have proven that MDMA-assisted therapy cures PTSD, but our government insists on locking the medicine cabinet. Can you help unlock the cabinet and allow people to access the medical treatment they deserve?

As recently featured in O Magazine, Aid for people with PTSD is coming from a surprising source: the drug known as ecstasy. In an FDA-approved clinical trial, 17 of 20 patients no longer met the criteria for PTSD after three MDMA-aided therapy lead by Michael Mithoefer, MD, and his wife Ann, a psychiatric nurse. 

That’s why Harvard doctors are joining a chorus of experts studying MDMA for issues like couples counseling, depression, and end-of-life anxiety. More research is needed to ensure that the treatment is safe and effective, but the government is standing in the way.
