President Trump is planning to accept a $400 million luxury jet from the Qatari royal family — not for the U.S. military or diplomatic service, but for his personal use, during and after his presidency.

According to The New York Times, the plane will serve as Trump’s version of Air Force One and is expected to be transferred to his privately controlled museum foundation when he leaves office.

Meanwhile, he has praised the gift as “a very nice gesture” and hinted that it’s part of a quid pro quo for continued U.S. military support to Qatar.

This is not diplomacy. It’s textbook corruption.

Trump is already under fire for profiting from $TRUMP cryptocurrency, pay-for-access auctions, and hosting campaign events on properties he owns. Now, with the Qatari jet, he’s accepting what may amount to a foreign bribe — and there’s no public legal review, no oversight, and no accountability.

We call on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice to immediately launch a federal investigation into Trump’s Qatari jet deal

Determine whether this gift violates the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act or other federal bribery and corruption laws.

No sitting U.S. president should be accepting multi-million-dollar luxury gifts from foreign governments while in office — especially when those gifts are tied to personal gain.
