A full-page ad placed in the New York Times, and then a number of local Jewish newspapers, urged the Obama administration to stop pressuring Israel over settlements. It suggests that the entire onus should be on the Palestinians and the Arab states. This is a recipe for failure. Without a settlement freeze, Israel's chances for peace are diminished.
