Popular Spotify podcast host Joe Rogan was caught using the "N" word on video on numerous occasions.  In response, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek announced in February 2022 that the company would offer a $100 million fund specifically to support underrepresented podcast creators.  The only thing is it's nearly a year late,r and there has been no direction as to how to apply for the fund or any details. When media relations at Spotify is asked about status, there is no information given. Don't let corporations make empty promises.  Now more than ever, underrepresented people need powerful platforms. Our voice matters. It is important to our culture that ALL points of view are supported, not just some otherwise we miss vital information. If we do not hold the corporation accountable, others will follow the pattern of making empty promises for PR purposes.  This must stop now!
