Tell Republicans: Let Women Make Their Own Healthcare Choices

Tell Republicans: Let Women Make Their Own Healthcare Choices

The Issue

With the 2016 election heating up, you might think that Republicans are hard at work trying to improve America’s economy. Unfortunately, the economy has taken a back seat yet again to attacking a woman’s right to choose. Join Senate Democrats in standing up for a women’s right to make her own healthcare choices!

It’s unbelievable. Not only has Lindsay Graham proposed a ban on all abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy, but the House has already passed such a bill, and Mitch McConnell has promised a vote on it in the Senate.

These highly invasive healthcare mandates only serve to harm the health of mothers who may face life-threatening complications during pregnancy.

Stand with Senate Democrats to stop this bill in its tracks. The war on women must end here before it invades the presidential race.

It’s not just Lindsay Graham. Every one of his opponents for the GOP presidential nomination endorses this plan. Some have gone even further—as Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker passed some of the worst anti-choice legislation the country has ever seen.

It’s a sickening attempt to appeal to far-right supporters while destroying the rights of women across America. Republicans need to learn that women are not political pawns to help them gain credibility with the far-right wing of their party.

Tell Republicans to keep their hands off of women’s health choices. Join the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in helping to stop this bill in the Senate.
