This spring, with no prior notification and no opportunity for public comment, PSEG Long Island began installing towering steel utility poles on County Road 51 and Eastport Manor Road in Eastport. 

These poles, as tall as 70 feet high, are completely out of character with Eastport and have no place in the heart of a historic hamlet.

PSEG Long Island must undo this thoughtless project that proceeded with no effort to communicate with the community it would devastate. Join the Eastport Green Project in telling PSEG to remove the poles on Eastport Manor Road and bury the transmission lines.
