Tell Nottinghamshire County Council : Create a Zebra Crossing across Landmere Lane

Tell Nottinghamshire County Council : Create a Zebra Crossing across Landmere Lane
The Issue
The new Edwalton retail park has driven increased traffic to the area but also added facilities used by many residents. However, a crucial crossing across Landmere Lane is not protected by lights or a proper pedestrian crossing. This means it is a routine occurrence for residents to have to run the gauntlet at this junction while cars pull in from 3 directions. This is especially dangerous for those with babies in pushchairs and prams, who cannot run across. Many have struggled to cross this busy road safely.
We, as the residents of the surrounding area, request that the council install a traffic light or zebra crossing across Landmere Lane opposite the retail park, to safely complete the pedestrian route into the area.
This idea was originally rejected by the council but is now under appeal. Your signature to this petition will help Nottinghamshire County Council understand how this affects those in the area, and convince them to install a proper crossing for pedestrians.
