Good news, we made the first hurdle! Now we need your strong attendance on June 27, 2019!  Our advocacy was on point yesterday at the June 19 Metro Planning Committee meeting. Over 40 community members, including youth and seniors attended, and 10 spoke about the clear need for Metro to fully fund the Transit to Parks plan. We spoke about the need to connect #publictransittopubliclands so our communities have equal access to nature and become future environmental stewards. They heard us, thanked us for our commitment, voiced their support and voted to advance the plan to the full Board for presentation.

One Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012, 3rd Floor, Metro Board Room.  Show up, this is the meeting we've been waiting for!! The full Board of Directors will take public comment on the plan, and we need a strong show of support to provide Transit to Parks for all of L.A. County.
