Tell KFC to Stop Destroying the Amazon

Tell KFC to Stop Destroying the Amazon
The Issue
Kentucky Fried Chicken is an accomplice to the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. The soy used to feed its chickens is grown on illegally cleared rainforest land.
Much of the 70,000 sq km of Amazon rainforest destroyed in the last three years has been driven by the soya industry. Yum! Brands Inc., the parent corporation of KFC, claims its soya is grown in other parts of Brazil. Greenpeace, however, has traced the supply chain and learned that this is not true.
After decades of unrestrained plundering, the world was finally beginning to take rainforest protection seriously - due in no small part to Brazil's efforts. But all of that progress is now at risk once again. Activists recently pressured McDonalds into giving up its supply of Amazon soy products. Now it's time to send KFC a message.
Tell KFC that you want no part in their environmental abuse. Tell them to feed their chickens something other than the Amazon!
