Tell Fortnum & Mason to Stop Selling Foie Gras

Tell Fortnum & Mason to Stop Selling Foie Gras
The Issue
The British department store, Fortnum & Mason, continues to sell foie gras in its store and on its website. The production of foie gras is banned in Britain, as the production process is notoriously cruel.
In order to produce foie gras, which translates as "fatty liver," geese and ducks must be force-fed several times daily. The feeding tubes often tear holes in the birds' throats. It is a painful process to produce an enlarged, diseased liver, and the birds' livers can swell to ten times the normal size.
Two of Fortnum & Mason's competitors, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, have both agreed to pull foie gras from shelves.
Sign the petition to ask Fortnum & Mason to remove foie gras from their shelves and from their restaurant menu.
