TODAY, RETIRED CITY COUNCILWOMAN CATHY DONAHUE, FILED AN ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST DENVER CITY COUNCIL WOMAN STACY GILMORE FOR FAILING to recuse herself on a vote to approve million of $$$ in construction contracts for the demise of historic City Park Golf Course ( CPGC) . Stacy's husband , Scott Gilmore is a Director at Denver Parks and REcreation, a manager of this project and a loud proponent of destroying historic CPGC, to install an industrial storm drain to keep proposed Highway I 70 boondoggle from flooding . ( total of 4 lawsuits to stop it , so far) A citizen lawsuit is going to trial on August 21 to stop the destruction of 285+ heritage trees in CPGC. THE VOTE WILL COME UP AGAIN AT DENVER CITY COUNCIL ON MONDAY AUGUST 14. Would it hurt Hancock and City Council to wait a few days for the outcome before they spend more of our money. What if the citizens win? Will they begin chopping the trees down right away? Remember Hentzell Park. PLEASE ...
