Tell Cadbury to Stop Using Rainforest Derived Palm Oils

Tell Cadbury to Stop Using Rainforest Derived Palm Oils
The Issue
Last week, we received some good news -- thanks to consumer pressure, Cadbury New Zealand has decided to phase palm oil out of its popular chocolate brands. Palm oil is sourced from tropical regions, primarily in Indonesia and Malaysia, where some of the world's last remaining tropical rainforests are located. These forests provide livelihoods for Indigenous communities and habitat for endangered species such as orangutans, Sumatran tigers and sun bears, and they are threatened by conversion to oil palm plantations. In fact, palm oil expansion has become the leading cause of deforestation in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Cadbury New Zealand's decision is a step in the right direction. However, the rest of Cadbury's operations throughout the world continue to use palm oil in their products. You can help us send a message today to ask Cadbury Global to follow Cadbury New Zealand's footsteps and stop mixing rainforest destruction in their candies.
Thank you for all of your work helping RAN send this important message to retailers: No Rainforest Destruction in my Candy!
