All of a sudden early April, Amazon ditched UPS and is now shipping huge pallets of packages to USPS post offices that are COMPLETELY not equipped to take them—not to mention the poor postal service employees that didn’t sign up for heavy and large packages.  As an example, my very small post office doesn’t have the space for Amazon’s “drop offs”.  Their pallets don’t fit through the doors so the postal service employees have to go outside (not as bad now in the summer, but in the cold mountain winters it can be brutal) and unload them and haul them through the door and into the facility.  I am impacted because I have a rural mailbox, and it is a 7 mile round trip for me to go pick up all of my Amazon packages—not to mention I am 75 years old.  UPS drops them at my front door!!  PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION to compel Amazon to start shipping via UPS again.  They make ENOUGH PROFITS AS IT IS!!  I have since cancelled many of my subscribe and save items.  I just can’t (nor can most of the carriers at USPS) pick up these heave boxes to load them into my car then unload them!!  RIDICULOUS.
