In November of 2020 the Television Academy announced, with great pride and fanfare, that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was to receive the coveted International EMMY AWARD for his 'Masterful COVID-19 Briefings'.

This came as a shock to many New Yorkers – especially the millions who've lost their businesses, jobs and grandparents due to his historic mismanagement of this pandemic.

Since March, Andrew Cuomo, has politicized this crisis at every turn, and made it much worse than it had to be; causing great harm and suffering for New Yorkers. And yet, somehow, our media and entertainment institutions have not only *not* held him to account, they've insisted on elevating him. They've cast him as a hero. This is wrong. And insane.

~ This politically-motivated Emmy nomination should be rescinded, immediately. ~

Because Andrew Cuomo doesn't deserve awards, or praise, or even reelection. He deserves scorn.
