Early this morning, Pokemon has announced that they will be discontinuing Pokemon TCG Online and moving forward with a new game of PTCG Live. This update was desired by most players for an innovative UI make-over, but it came at costs that has deeply affected a chunk of the player base. Trading in PTCGO was one of the many factors that brought communities together, made Online Tournaments possible during the pandemic!! As a Tournament Organizer myself who loves to give away cards and packs to those who need them and as a way to give out prizing for players who top my tournaments, that will not be plausible anymore!!

Pokemon TCG Online Trading has been a helpful / friendly community and however toxic at times and the existence of a black-market are hard to slide, but with moderators and potential ways to stop the black-market, that wouldn't be the case.. But on the bright side; for the average player trading was both helpful and impactful to their gameplay experience by trading for cards you need, borrowing your friend's cards when you're missing cards, or even trading what you don't need into a magical collection of gold and rare looking cards!!!

Please sign this petition to help Nintendo reconsider their idea of a world where Pokemon Trading Card Game is now Pokemon Card Game... That doesn't sound right, now does it?!
