      Before pandemic in the Philippines in 2019 2,411 girls aged 10-14 gave birth. During pandemic, An estimate of at least 102,000 Filipino adolescents gave birth during the coronavirus pandemic last year.

      There is a huge difference when the pandemic has started, teenage pregnancy is not only in Philippines but around the world, this usually happens because of lack of knowledge about sex education nor family planning. The social media is enough to inform everyone and also social media can influence everyone anytime there's a trending topic.

Possible reason of becoming a teenager mother:

1. Lack of education about sex                  •If they do not know anything about sex education, they might have a baby everytime they're having sex.
2. Poverty                                                       • Poverty is one of the main reason why there is a teenager becomes a teenage mother, more like a cycle that cannot be pause.
3. Government Assist                                 • Lack of idea form government and not telling what they need to do before having a family such as family planning, without an idea about family planning can lead them to a teenager mother.

The Philippines has one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates among the ASEAN member states. More than 500 adolescents are becoming pregnant and giving birth everyday, that's why Philippines is way too far of becoming the standard agaun. Teenage pregnancy leads into poverty that may affect our country.

Most notable is the inability of single parent mothers who cannot effectively provide for their children. The other things is there is no job opportunities for the youths these days and they are forced to do things that they really don't want to do.
