Captain Perozeni filed a misleading mission plan before the operation that resulted in the loss of 4 lives. He was one of the key players in a mission gone awry. You can't create a mess, perform well in the mess you created while others perish, and then get rewarded for performing well in the mess you created. Besides, there are no witnesses and there is no video to validate the claim. That is a slap in the face to the families of the ones who perished. They are already struggling with the fact that their loved ones died needlessly, but then to have to watch the ones who caused it get rewarded for their actions while their own loved ones are gone??? That is unconscionable! 

My friend lost her brother in that fight that day. Her family still struggles daily with the loss, and the way it happened. That was confounded by the lies and the stories that Capt. Perozeni and his crew fed them in the minutes and days after. They are still uncovering the truth every day. To watch this man be rewarded for it adds insult to injury. 

I have no ill will toward the man. People are human and they make mistakes. If you want to reward him, find another situation to reward him for. This is not the time nor the place to do it.
